The Apple Newsroom has just published a new article which aims to demonstrate how the iPhone 12 can do wonders. The configuration of the cameras of the iPhone 12 coupled to the A14 Bionic allows according to the Cupertino company to produce a fabulous photo rendering. According to Apple, photographers around the world are using the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max to capture images of cityscapes, rural areas, portraits, and more situations.
Fabulous results
Apple seeks in particular to show the performance of Night and Deep Fusion modes which, thanks to AI, can intelligently adjust the white balance, contrast, texture and saturation of a photo to provide a remarkably natural rendering. Among this selection of shots, we also find the use of different zoom options. This year, a Frenchwoman is in the spotlight in this selection. This is Hélène Hadjiyianni, you can find many other photos of her on her Instagram account.
The Cupertino company has been organizing this competition since 2015. If Apple allows to highlight new photographers, the company has long been criticized for not paying the photographers and benefiting from their work. Since 2019, Apple has rewarded the winners of this contest and provided them with license fees.
