After the launch of the units with gasoline and diesel engines now the renewed Hyundai Kona family add the alternatives with conventional hybrid motor and electric ones. They can already be requested at dealerships throughout the peninsular network and in the Balearic Islands (in the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla there is a specific importer).
The Kona Hybrid uses the well-known 1.6-liter gasoline engine in combination with an electric one to achieve full power combined 141 hp and 265 Nm of maximum torque. The gearbox is a double clutch with six speeds and the traction always simple to the front axle.
As for electric motors, the firm proposes a basic with 136 hp in combination with a 39.2 kWh battery capacity (305 km of autonomy), and a more complete option with 204 hp of power associated with a battery with 64 kWh capacity that give it a range of up to 484 km according to the WLTP approval.
Completion levels They are called Maxx, Tecno and Style. In all cases they have alloy wheels, trip computer, automatic climate control, speed limiter and control, lane change alert, pre-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detector, digital instrumentation with 10.25-inch screen and light sensor.
Also standard are the four power windows and mirrors, central locking with remote control, 8-inch touchscreen multimedia system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, bluetooth, USB, eCall, fog lights, tinted windows, integrated roof bars, rear parking sensor, etc.
In the most complete they also include the Full LED headlights, sliding sunroof, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated seats, Head Up Display, Krell sound system, front parking sensor, traffic sign reader, blind spot control, adaptive cruise control, etc.
