After the Cyberphone and its titanium design, Caviar returns in 2021 with this time a personalized iPhone 13 Pro Max, the Tyrannophone. On the menu, a composite shell, titanium and 24 carat gold engraved with the head of a dinosaur, but not only. Because the eye of the beast is actually a real coinamber, precious stone made of fossilized sap.
Even better: one of the animal’s teeth incorporates a small fragment of tyrannosaurus dentition, dating back eighty million years. The manufacturer does not specify where this find came from, but it happens that certain museums finance their activities in this way or that collectors part with certain nuggets. It will however pay the price, since the device still costs a trifle of 9,150 dollars (nearly 8,000 euros) with 1 TB of internal storage. There is also a cheaper iPhone 13 Pro version ($ 8,610 or a little over $ 7,500 at the current exchange rate).
How to buy this so special iPhone?
To offer you this little gem or to please a member of your family as the holidays approach, you have to go to the official Caviar website. The Custom Case Specialist allows you to pay with one click, then provides a tracking number that lets you know the status of your order at all times. Just before receiving it, a member of the brand’s team will finally call you to complete the delivery.
Both iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are powered by an A15 Bionic processor with six-core CPU, 6 GB of RAM, five-core graphics card and sixteen-core Neural Engine artificial intelligence engine. Their diagonal is however different, with 6.7 inches for the iPhone 13 Pro Max against 6.1 inches for its little brother. Autonomy, too, differs between the two models with up to 28 hours of video playback for the Pro Max against 22 for the Pro.
Both smartphones are unlocked with Face ID and offer multiple privacy features including inter-application tracking blocking or end-to-end iMessage encryption. Finally, water resistance is also part of the game for the more adventurous.
