Between November 23 and 28, the Milan Motorcycle Show 2021, an event to which the brands of the two wheels have attended with important news. Honda has presented its ADV350 and Kymco has shown the wide catalog of models you have ready for 2022.
Among its combustion scooters, the most important novelties focus on the family Agility Plus S, the Xciting 400 S and the AK 550 ST.
The first, which includes the 50, 125 and 200cc models, is a sportier cut variant that includes specific wheels (16 and 14 inches), double disc brakes with ABS, a new Full LED headlight and an instrument panel with a display. LCD.
As for your average scooter, the Kymco Xciting 400 S, receives an update for next year, which focuses mainly on updating the front, now more stylized, and the renewal of the instrumentation.
More relevance has the AK 550 ST, a new version of the sports maxi scooter focused on long trips, so it includes elements focused on improving comfort: heated grips, electrically adjustable windshield and smart key start. In addition, it improves safety by incorporating the ETS (Electronic Throttle System) control system, TCS traction control (safety on wet and uneven surfaces) and Cornering ABS. Its arrival is scheduled for the first half of 2022.
Kymco IONEX: electric bet
Special mention deserve the IONEX electric models, zero-emission mobility solutions that the brand hopes to commercialize outside of Asia in the coming year.
The Kymco Agility Carry It is an electric working version of the popular scooter, which integrates a luggage rack in the tail part and uses a 2 kW motor, interchangeable batteries and has a range of 50 kilometers.
The duo Kymco I ONE and I ONE X is made up of low-wheel models and design neo-retro, the first with 3.6 kW of power and 52 kilometers of range; the second only offers 2 kW, but with a greater range (60 kilometers).
The same format is presented by Kymco Super 6 and Super 7, larger, within the L3 category and also more powerful, 6.4 and 7.2 kW, respectively. Both use a removable double battery system and exceed 100 kilometers of autonomy.
The latter is the sportiest, the Kymco Super 9, with a more athletic aesthetic and a 10 kW motor, which allows it to carry its 110 kilos up to a maximum speed of 110 km / h and, thanks to its integrated batteries, travel up to 140 kilometers per charge.
