Apple is rolling out macOS 12.2 to everyone, along with tvOS 15.3 and HomePod

macOS Monterey 12.2

macOS

Along with its mobile operating systems, Apple has just released a new public update for its computers. macOS Monterey 12.2 thus arrives with a majority of patches but no additional functionality. The Apple Music application has however been revisited and abandons the webapp, as noticed in the previous beta. Scrolling through ProMotion screens is also smoother now.

To install macOS 12.2, it’s very simple: just go to the app System Preferences then choose Software update and finally Upgrade now.

HomePod and tvOS

Apple also released tvOS 15.3, which activates multi-user voice recognition in some countries (France was already entitled to it). The program that equips the HomePod and the HomePod mini also goes to 15.3, with the same modification.

As always, it is recommended to update your devices well for the sake of security. It happens that major flaws are filled by the developers, sometimes discreetly.
