iOS 15.3.1: accessibility bug and security flaw
This new iOS 15 version brings various improvements, bug fixes and security fixes. It is particularly a question of the remediation of a major security flaw affecting Webkit and therefore potentially any web browser on iPadOS and iOS (not just Safari). The 15.3.1 update program also includes the correction of a bug concerning the “Braille” accessibility function. To update your iPhone or iPad (with iPadOS 15.3.1 also available), go to Settings > General > Software Update.
watchOS 8.4.2: charging bug
Version 8.4.2 of watchOS does not bring major changes compared to the previous version at number 8.4. It is mainly about fixes for bugs and security vulnerabilities. Note, however, the resolution of a problem affecting the recharging of certain models of watches. To update your Apple Watch, go to Watch, section General > Software Update.
macOS 12.2.1: Bluetooth bug and security
On macOS, a sleep bug decreases the autonomy of certain laptops. As described here, Bluetooth is involved. With macOS version 12.2.1, this problem becomes history. The Webkit security flaw described in the iOS 15.3.1 paragraph, which was also present on macOS, is therefore also resolved in this new version of the system. To update your machine, everything happens in the menu Apple > System Preferences > Software Update.
Do not hesitate to let us know in the comments if you encounter any problems with one of these updates and if the problems described in the article are indeed corrected for you.
