For several weeks now, rumors in favor of the announcement of new MacBook Pros at the end of the year have been increasing. Mark Gurman, journalist at Bloomberg, even think you know the technical characteristics of the processor that will power the devices. Today, other clues spotted on Apple’s site seem to confirm the news.
Indeed, the 16-inch MacBook Pros currently require to wait several weeks before receiving them in many regions, a sign that another model may be on the way. Better: most Apple Stores simply no longer have these references in store. Often, this is indeed another premise of the release of an unpublished article, as we have already noticed before the arrival of the Series 6 for example.
The 61-watt MacBook Pro charger, compatible with the latest 13-inch edition with an M1 chip, is also unavailable in Apple Stores. Another case: that of the 96-watt adapter, also not found in stores but that we can order well… for delivery from here “two to three months“. Of course, these numbers may vary from address and country to country, but they are still significant.
This would therefore be a possible further proof that Apple is planning new MacBooks soon. Impossible to know more officially, nevertheless the computers could sign the return of the port for SD card on their slice according to certain assumptions. The lack of Touch Bar has also been mentioned in the past, but of course Apple hasn’t commented on the information as usual.
No date for the conference
The very event that would formalize these MacBook Pros is not yet planned. However, we know that Apple has a habit of organizing its keynotes on Tuesday or Wednesday. Last year, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro were unveiled on October 13. If this date seems too close, tomorrow could still be the time for sending out invitation cards, often sent to the press a week before D-Day.
The keynote would then take place on the 19th or the 20th. To your predictions.
