The research found that another of the elements that influence infidelity is the duration of the marriage or relationship.
After 7 years of marriage, 6 out of 10 men and 5 out of 10 women are more likely to cheat on their partners and fall into infidelity. Extramarital affairs increase from that year on and only begin to decrease gradually after the tenth year.
