Last night Apple released the second beta version of its upcoming iPhone operating program, iOS 15.5. A slew of beta premieres are also available, for iPadOS 15.5, watchOS 8.6, HomePodOS 15.5 and tvOS 15.5. Users enrolled in the developer beta program can update their devices.
As seen there, iOS 15.5 seems to bring some interesting new features. According to the first beta anyway.
With beta 2, Apple is fine-tuning the work. Thus, few changes are to be noted compared to beta 1. These are mainly bug fixes and performance improvements. Clues in the source code, however, seem to indicate the upcoming support of Apple Pay for new European banking services, Bancomat (Italy) and Bancontact (Belgium).

Note that macOS is also evolving and moving to version 12.4, with beta 2 at this stage available for testers.
