Anheuser-Busch is launching a Willy Wonka-inspired “Live Like a King” sweepstakes, in which a can of Budweiser lager can earn you a million dollars.
Instead of a golden ticket, you need to get your hands on a golden Budweiser beer. The brewer has distributed 10,000 golden cans in specially marked beer cases across the United States.
Once the consumer finds one of the lucky cans, they can then enter the Live Like a King drawing for a chance to win the million prize. Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia, who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
How to win million dollars from Budweiser
To participate in the draw, the people who have found the golden can must post a photo of the can via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and tag @budweiserusa with the hashtags #LiveLikeAKing and #Sweepstakes.
There is also another way in which you can participate in the draw, for this you must enter the Budweiser website to download a gold tin wrapper imagewhich can then be used to wrap an actual non-alcoholic can (i.e. a soda can or glass).
Sweepstakes Entry Instructions for Alabama and California Residents
Gold can and gold label are not part of admission for Alabama and California residents. People will need to post a photo of themselves and a Budweiser logo on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, tag @budweiserusa and include the hashtags #LiveLikeAKing and #Sweepstakes.
The drawing to select the million dollar winner will be conducted by Anheuser-Busch on February 21. Entries will be accepted between January 10 and February 20, 2022.
Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. The winner will be notified via direct message on social media, at which point they will have 48 hours to respond and accept the prize, which will be delivered by check.
If the potential winner does not respond to the notification within the 48 hour period, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential winner will be selected.
