The Spanish firm enriches the Cupra León range with the arrival of the VZ Cup version which for the moment can only be requested with a “green” engine, also improving frugality thanks to the suspension lowered by 25mm that reduces aerodynamic resistance.
The Cupra León VZ Cup in Spain can only be purchased in combination with the 1.4 e-Hybrid engine. This mechanics combines a 150 hp 1.4 TSI engine with an electric one to get 245 CV of total power. The lithium-ion battery has 13 kWh and the autonomy exceeds 59 km in 100% electric mode.
The VZ Cup package includes certain elements that make it more exclusive, highlighting the small rear spoiler in carbon fiber and bronze color (for the hatchback), the side skirts in black, CupBacquet seats in blue or black leather with the back in carbon fiber, etc.
The brand has not yet communicated the prices for this new option, but they do say that orders can now be placed at dealerships. Another novelty in the Cupra León e-Hybrid range is the arrival of the braking system developed by Brembo which can also be ordered from March, including four-piston calipers and larger perforated discs.
