The Ducati diavel It is one of the most muscular motorcycles on the market, a kind of ‘dragster’ on two wheels that now receives a new version that increases its exclusivity even more: the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, a limited edition inspired by the Sián, the Italian brand’s supercar that was presented in 2019.
With both models placed together it is easy to see the existing similarities, such as the color ‘Gea Green’ that adorns all the elements made of carbon fiber: tank cover, tail, fenders, tailpipes, air intakes and headlight structure. Another detail inherited from the Lamborghini are the 17-inch wheels, practically identical and finished in the Electrum Gold color, which creates a striking contrast to the main dull green.
Andrea Ferraresi, Director of the Centro Stile Ducati, points out: “The Ducati Diavel inspired by the Lamborghini Sián shares our values: we are two Italian companies, sportiness is inherent in our brands and our design distinguishes our creations. The Diavel 1260 Lamborghini It has been created using the same design language that differentiates the Sián FKP 37 ”.
There are no mechanical changes, nor is it necessary to do so, since the Diavel S comes standard with a 1.3 engine that develops 162 hp of power and 129 Nm of maximum torque. In addition, its cycle part stands out with components such as Öhlins inverted fork 48-millimeter diameter front, rear adjustable Öhlins monoshock and Brembo brakes, made up of a 320-millimeter double disc with radially mounted monobloc calipers at the front and a 265 disc with two-piston calipers at the rear.
The Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini will go on sale in December, in limited series format of 630 units (in honor of 1963, the year the Italian brand was founded) of which its price has not yet been announced.
