The BMW M8 Competition in all its bodies has an imposing aesthetic and a wild V8 engine of 625 hp and 750 Nm of torque, but in AC Schnitzer They have not wanted to miss the opportunity to get their hands on the Bavarian sports car to make it even wilder.
To begin with, the team of specialists worked on some suspension settings, which translates into a lower center of gravity, specifically 15mm at the rear and 20mm at the front. Although the most obvious change comes abroad thanks to the aerodynamic elements.
They highlight the splitter front, side skirts, a prominent rear spoiler, a new diffuser and carbon fiber covers for the air vents. Not a single detail has been left to chance. A set of custom wheels from 21 inches.
These are fitted with 275/30 R21 tires on the front axle and 285/30 R21 on the rear. There are three designs available: AC3 ‘Evo’ light forged wheels, AC3 BiColor and Type VIII light forged wheels. 20-inch options are also offered.
Inside the changes are more subtle, like some aluminum inserts on the gearshift lever, cams and pedals, or an exclusive set of mats. However, the real icing on the cake is in the engine compartment, where the Competition version achieves the 720 hp and 850 Nm of pair.
Owners of the conventional versions of the BMW M8 will also be able to enjoy a succulent power increase that reaches the 700 hp and 850 Nm of torque. All engine upgrades are offered with the AC Schnitzer sports exhaust, available with tubes in Carbon Sport, Sport or Sport Black finish.
