During the past year 2020 new vehicle registrations in Portugal registered a significant decrease of 35.0% compared to fiscal 2019 until reaching a total volume of only 145,417 units delivered to new customers.
By fuel types gasoline vehicles dominated with 64,233 units while diesels lagged behind with 47,460 units. As well 7,830 electric, 11,867 PHEV were sold, 11,902 simple hybrids and 1,845 vehicles capable of using gas.
Despite the bad data caused by the health crisis, some brands managed to improve their data in Portugal, highlighting Porsche (+ 10.9%) and Ferrari (15.5%)
