how to know the percentage of remaining autonomy?

Siri batterie iPhone Face ID

Thanks to Siri

  1. Make a long press on the ignition button
  2. Siri then appears, asking him: “what is the percentage of battery remaining?

A message like “The Battery is at 14%”Then appears.

By using widgets

Since iOS 14, it is possible to display data from certain apps directly on the home screen: these are the widgets. One of them is specifically dedicated to the battery, able to tell you the remaining autonomy of several devices: AirPods Pro, wireless charging battery, Apple Watch and of course the iPhone. To add it, here is the procedure:

  1. Scroll to an area free of app icons and widgets on the home screen
  2. Long press on the screen
  3. Touch the button + which appears at the top left
  4. Touch the search bar that appears
  5. Using the keyboard, type “Batteries
  6. Touch the corresponding option that appears

Three widgets are then available, which you can choose by scrolling through the options to the right. The first is the most compact (2 × 2) and only displays the remaining battery life of a single device. The second, meanwhile, is larger (1 × 4) and can provide information on the endurance of four devices. As for the last (4 × 4), it is the largest. Note that it is unfortunately not possible to manually choose which devices will appear for each widget, nor to list Macs and other iPads there. Pity.

Via the Control Center

Sometimes it takes too much space to use widgets. Fortunately, there is an even easier way to view the percentage of battery remaining. All you have to do is swipe down from the top right corner of iOS. The Control Center then appears, with the desired information at the top right.

  3. Touch the button + that appears to the left of the notch
  4. Touch the search bar that appears
