During the presentation of the new range of iPhone 13, Apple made the best autonomy of its smartphones one of the selling points. This seems to be there, as confirmed by a new test conducted by the YouTube PhoneBuff account.
The experiment focused on the iPhone 13 Pro Max whose performance was compared with that of the Samsung Galaxy S21. The observation is very clear: the latest addition to the Cupertino company would offer an autonomy of 2h30 more than that of the South Korean company.
Clear and appreciable progress
As noted 9to5mac, the Galaxy S21 however includes a 6.8-inch screen a little larger than the Pro Max, which can play. The results are no less impressive when we know that the battery of the high-end phone of the Apple brand has 4352 mAh, while that of its competitor has 5000.
Note that according to Apple’s evaluations, the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro Max have an autonomy of 2.5 hours more than the 12 and 12 Pro Max, while the 13 Pro Max includes the addition of the ProMotion screen at 120Hz, as our colleagues remind us.
