With the launch of the iPhone 13, Apple has also rolled out a new type of packaging that abandons the plastic film around the box, in favor of a simple sticky tab that preserves its contents. The device has since proven itself and can now also be found on other Californian devices, such as the MacBook Pro charger with a power of 96 watts.
With this, these are now the iPhone 12 who also adopt a change in favor of the environment. MacRumors is indeed certain that these mobiles will be offered this week in a new brown box and guaranteed without any trace of plastic. However, we do not yet know what it will look like precisely, because no official image has reached us for the moment.
According to information from MacRumors, the United States is concerned as well as other countries whose list is not known. However, Apple aims to drastically reduce waste production. This is also one of the priorities of Lisa Jackson, head of Cupertino’s “green” objectives for 2030. The company also wants to move to zero greenhouse gas emissions from here on the same deadline.
To try to discover the new box, it will however be necessary to respect certain conditions at least at the beginning. Starting, therefore, by choosing an iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 mini model. The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are no longer produced by Apple: they are only found at third-party resellers who are running out of their stocks.
Important Note: The source claims that only iPhone 12s “repaired” are concerned. We can therefore hypothesize that these are refurbished models, which Apple upgrades with its own circuit of spare parts.
