The former broker revealed that he is an XRP whale as well as an NFT fan. Belfort showed off his collectibles on Twitter and announced the launch of his own NFT series.
Jordan Belfort, the popular former stockbroker nicknamed “the wolf of Wall Street“, He has been diving into the crypto space and has now declared himself an advocate of XRP, the token of Ripple.
Known for his insidious stock market practices and scandalous lifestyle, Belfort has been taking to Twitter to share his fondness for tokens non-fungibles (NFT) and its position in favor of some cryptocurrencies.
In a tweet recent, old broker revealed that he is a whale -great investor- of XRP; And he’s not the only one, he says that the man who fixes his TV is also a proponent of Ripple’s currency. In fact they both have quite optimistic price projections for XRP.
I am a huge XRP (six figure) holder. My TV guy thinks it’s the best thing since sliced bread. You think it’s going to $ 10,000. Hope you’re right, but I’ll settle for $ 10.

If Belfort’s prediction of $ 10 is correct, XRP would see a 900% increase from its current price about one US dollar. At the beginning of the year, the cryptocurrency of Ripple managed to break the USD $ 1 price barrier for the first time since 2018. At that time, the bullish market rally brought its price very close to USD $ 2.
However, XRP is still a long way from its all-time price high of $ 3.4 recorded three years ago. The cryptocurrency’s trading performance was negatively affected last year, amid controversial lawsuit filed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which accused the company Ripple and its executives from the illicit sale of unregistered securities.
The former stockbroker hasn’t been the only one to come out to defend XRP this week. The CEO of Coinbase, Brian Armstrong, also showed his support for Ripple in the context of the legal battle with the SEC. Armstrong said the regulator’s actions actually hurt consumers and agreed with a comment from Mike Novogratz who assured that XRP’s bullish performance in recent months was a sign that people are bullish on the token beyond SEC actions.
Wolf of Wall Street is a fan of NFT
Although in 2018 he criticized Bitcoin and described it as “swindle“, Belfort has become a fervent advocate of the digital currency ecosystem; particularly from digital collectibles. The known “wolf of wall street”Has changed his profile picture on Twitter to put a CryptoPunk, a popular NFT series that can cost millions of dollars each.
“WOW I LOVE NFT TWITTER! AND NOW THAT I’M HERE, I’M NOT GOING OUT!He wrote in a tweet at the beginning of the week. He also asked the community in another post about whether to buy an NFT from the collection Bored Ape Yacht Club, another popular series that also sells for large sums of money. And in general, you have been making a lot of comments on the subject.
Personally, I think the new world of NFTs is much more interesting than the last political fight on Capitol Hill. Do you agree or not?
In fact, before you start shopping for recognized collectibles within the tokenized art space, Belfort announced the launch of its own NFT collection. The collection is inspired by his memories and shows a series of wolf designs made up of elements that refer to his extravagant lifestyle, such as parties, cars, yachts and helicopters.
