The Apple Pencil is an excellent solution for controlling your iPad with more precision than touch mode. But this accessory has a rather high cost, which amounts to 99 euros for the first edition or 135 euros for the second. Third-party manufacturers therefore came up with the idea of offering more affordable alternatives, such as Logitech with its Pencil.
Currently on sale on the firm’s website for around 70 euros, this gadget is displayed alongside all its technical characteristics. Among these, there is also the list of devices compatible with the stylus. However, there appeared Sixth generation iPad Pro… even though the most recent models are confined to the fifth. Oops.
Two tablets on the way?
Specifically, this is the iPad Pro of 12.9 inches, announced as arriving very soon by Logitech. However, this product is therefore not yet official, although many rumors have already mentioned it in the past. It could feature a new processor, similar to the one found in the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro announced earlier this year.
Logitech also lists the iPad Pro 11 inches of fourth generation, which could succeed at the same time to the one that is available in stores at the moment. The difference with the 12.9-inch version would be above all the size, the performance remaining similar to the large model.
Note that since this information was identified on the official Logitech website, the company has quickly deleted. At Apple’s request? Mystery, but it is possible that the partnership between the two companies for the development of the Pencil actually brings the Swiss to know in advance the secret plans of Cupertino.
See you in a few days
We do not yet know when the new iPad Pro will be released, but Apple has already announced that iPadOS 16 will be deployed later than iOS 16. Some are therefore betting on another keynote planned in octoberwhere new Macs could also be presented.
The price of the iPad Pro M1 offered today starts at 899 euros for the 11-inch version, or at 1,219 euros for the 12.9-inch version. But with an iPhone 14 now costing more than a thousand euros, it’s hard to see Apple’s next premium tablets going beyond this symbolic level…
