After multiple teasers and a delay caused by a shortage of microchips, the Trident brand vehicle arrives in GT, Modena and Trophy trims.
According to the brand, the Grecale strikes a perfect balance between versatility, elegance, performance and innovation.
The model is available with a complete variety of engines: conventional internal combustion, hybrid system and, within a year, the Grecale will become the first 100% electric SUV in Maserati’s history.
The 3.0-liter V6 engine borrowed from the MC20 features a pair of turbochargers. develop 530 hp at 6,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 620 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. Associated with this mechanism we find a eight-speed ZF automatic transmission which sends all that power to an AWD setup with an electronic limited-slip rear differential.

The Grecale EV will come with a fairly large 105 kWh battery and will use 400V technology. Its electric motors will deliver an almost instantaneous combined torque of 800Nm.

Its dimensions are a determining factor: the GT measures 4,846 mm in length, has a 2,901 mm wheelbase, 1,670 mm in height and a width of 2,163 mm (including mirrors). With a rear track width of 1,948 mm (even larger on the Trofeo). The Maserati Grecale has a trunk of 570 liter capacity.
The Grecale’s design adopts Maserati’s new visual identity, which distinguishes each new model since the MC20. The front features a low, imposing grille. The profile stands out for a very fluid bodywork, with sinuous and visual forms. At the rear, the boomerang headlamps are inspired by the Giugiaro 3200 GT.
Inside, technical highlights include the traditional Maserati watch face, in digital format.
