The Cupra range for New Zealand will be completed in the second quarter of the year with the new Formentor, a model that can already be reserved at the firm’s dealerships. At the moment they are only expected to be marketed with gasoline engines, leaving the PHEV hybrid alternatives for later.
Those interested who want to formalize their orders may choose the Formentor V which is equipped with the 190 hp 2.0 TSI engine in combination with the 4Drive all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
For those who seek the maximum benefits, the Formentor VZ is reserved, which has the block 2.0 TSI with 310 hp, all-wheel drive, and the same dual-clutch gearbox. This version reaches 250 km / h top speed and accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.9 seconds.
The standard equipment in both versions is very complete. To highlight the Full LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, pre-collision warning, automatic city braking, front and rear parking sensors, SmartBeam, digital instrumentation, fatigue detector and blind spot detector.
Also standard are alloy wheels, 12.0-inch touchscreen sound system, navigator, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rear camera, three-zone automatic climate control, electric handbrake, photosensitive interior mirror, driver’s seat lumbar adjustment, etc.
The most complete VZ adds the aluminum pedals, Start button on the steering wheel, electric and heated seats, wireless mobile charger, front parking sensors, adaptive dynamic chassis, adaptive steering, Beats stereo, automatic tailgate and assisted parking.
