If you like pickup trucks, you’re in luck and the Ford Ranger will be unveiled tomorrow, November 24 through a live digital streaming that you can see on YouTube.
This model is not only important due to the fact that pickups are in fashion in Europe and much of the world, but because in addition to introducing you to the new generation of Ford Ranger, this will also be the basis of the new one. Volkswagen amarok.
As we already mentioned, more than a year ago Volkswagen announced that the second generation of the Volkswagen Amarok would not be self-developed as it was the first generation. With the appearance of the first teaser, the brand made it clear that the second generation of the Amarok was going to be based on an Ford Ranger.
Regarding the design, the only thing we have at the moment is an exterior very similar to the one we have found in the Next-gen Ford 150. In this exterior at the moment we have been able to see a very vertical front with some LED daytime running lights in the shape of a C.
As we anticipated, the new Amarok will be closely related to the next Ford Ranger, but the Germans have promised a design with full Volkswagen DNA.
Some rumors suggest that Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles could be working on a more radical version of the Amarok based on a Ranger Raptor.
The second generation of the Amarok will be launched in 2022 after going into production at the Ford Silverton (South Africa), where the new Ranger will also be assembled.
