The month of February, in several areas of the globe, is designated as heart health month. On this occasion, various initiatives from health organizations around the world are trying to raise public awareness of heart disease, which kills approximately 400 people in France each year.
Apple, as a good health specialist, does not intend to miss the boat. The Californian firm is therefore currently deploying content collections through its sports and health apps with the main topic being heart health.
This is particularly the case in the Books, Podcasts, App Store, but also Apple TV or Fitness+ applications. This last service also offers a 30-minute workout to complete the activity challenge of the month, to be carried out precisely next February 14Valentine’s Day.
On this date, it will be enough to perform a 30-minute exercise on the Apple Watch to recover a heart month special badge. This will be visible in the Trophies section of the Fitness app on iOS.
Remember that Fitness+ has been available in France since last November. The service costs €9.99 per month. But you can also take advantage of it by subscribing to Apple’s bundled subscription, AppleOnewhich for €28.95 per month gives you access to Apple Music, Apple tv+, Apple Arcade, iCloud+ and Fitness+.
Finally, if you are not up to date with your Apple Watch activity challenges, be aware that two trophies can still be collected at this time, as seen here. There is the trophy Unitywhich is awarded after completing the Move ring 7 days in a row during the month of February, and the trophy Lunar New Yearoffered after completing a 20-minute exercise before February 15.
