No green, yellow or pink for the MacBook Air M2

According to a new rumor shared by Mark Gurman (Bloomberg), Apple would not offer a consistent color palette for its next MacBook Air. Information that contradicts multiple hypotheses in this direction published so far, but which emanates this time from a relatively reliable source. The journalist has indeed already seen just more than eight out of ten times in the past.

To date, the MacBook Air M1 is available from 1,129 euros in France, in “Space grey“, “Silver” Where “Gold“. If the first two choices should not change with the new version of the machine, the second could meanwhile draw more towards the “Champagne” according to Gurman. A trio completed by an edition blue but without green, pink, yellow, orange or mauve unlike the iMac which arrived a little earlier.

Supposed data sheet

As often, it is impossible to verify this data exactly because Apple does not reveal anything before the official release of its products, often during a keynote or a dedicated press release. The 2022 MacBook Air could change its look, however. design, according to other hallway noises. It would then offer a slightly larger screen (more than 13 inches) thanks to a notch to reduce the edges of the aluminum chassis, as on MacBook Pro.

Moreover, performance should unsurprisingly be enhanced, in particular with the integration of a new proprietary chip, perhaps called M2. This will then propel the latest version of the operating system for computers from Cupertino, macOS and its possible suffix “Mammoth”.
