The Ferrari Roma is the company’s front-engined access GT Prancing Horse. Along with an inner care, a curious comfort access key and a powerful engine, the Italian sports car sports a retro-inspired exterior look that Novitec has been subtly spiced. In addition, the Novitec Ferrari Roma has interesting mechanical improvements.
The Ferrari Roma pays tribute to vibrant city life which gives it its name in the ’50s and’ 60s. In addition, if we look closely at its lines, we will quickly discover that the model also follows the design pattern of Ferrari models of that time, such as the 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso or the 250 GT 2 + 2.
Under the hood, where the Ferrari Roma receives an updated version of the already known 3.9-liter biturbo V8 block of Ferrari, which generates 620 hp power (456 kW) and 760 Nm of torque between 3,000 and 5,750 rpm. Maximum power is reached at 7,500 rpm and is transmitted to the wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
More attractive for the Novitec Ferrari Roma
Aesthetically, the Novitec Ferrari Roma sports a carbon fiber body pack bare with a high gloss coating. It includes a redesigned front apron with a more prominent splitter, a new grille and a headlight trim. The Roma also benefits from more aerodynamic side steps and new mirror caps.
At the rear are the taillight frames, diffuser inserts, an additional vertical fin and a carbon cover for the active rear spoiler. They put the icing on the cake.Novitec NF10 forged wheels developed together with Vossen. They are offered in 21 and 22-inch sizes (front and rear axle, respectively) and up to 72 colors.
They can have a polished or high-gloss finish. They are shod with Pirelli P Zero tires in sizes 255/30 ZR 21 and 315/25 ZR 22, respectively. The vehicle configuration is completed by a 35mm height reduction and a front hydraulic lift system that allows to keep the front raised by 40 mm with the push of a button.
Interesting extra power
The most interesting are the improvements in the little heart of the beast thanks to the N-Tronic control module. The specialist has managed to extract a total of 84 hp of power and 122 Nm of additional torque to bring the total figure to nothing less than 704 hp and 882 Nm. Novitec also offers a sports Inconel exhaust system and optimized catalysts.
With new mapping for injection and ignition, updated electronic thrust pressure control and optimized throttle response, Novitec’s Ferrari Roma is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.2 seconds and from 0 to 200 km / h in 8.9 seconds. The maximum speed exceeds 325 km / h. For the interior there are upholstery in infinite colors.
