The Ford S-Max range debuts an important update that mainly affects the engine family. The most remarkable thing is that for the first time it can be bought with a hybrid alternative that, in addition to reducing urban spending, allows adding the DGT environmental label ECO.
Under the hood the S-Max 2021 receives the block 2.5 HEV already released in the Kuga and that with 190 CV of power stands out for its good benefits. It can only be purchased with the single front axle drive system and in combination with the CVT-type automatic gearbox.
According to the approved data the new option can reach 182 km / h and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in 9.8 seconds while the average consumption remains at 5.6 L / 100, with starting CO2 emissions of 126 g / km. It is a conventional hybrid and not light as it happens in other models of the brand.
