In this month of December the marketing of the new Volkswagen ID.5 starts in Spain, a 100% electric crossover with a sportier body style that should capture the attention of users looking for a differentiated touch without sacrificing the virtues of the electric ID.4.
At the moment the initial range is made up of the mechanics of 174, 204 and 299 CV of power, the latter exclusive to the most dynamic GTX. All have an automatic gearbox and the GTX lands with the all-wheel drive system. The battery in all of them has 77 kWh of capacity and a maximum autonomy of 514 km in WLTP cycle.
The levels of completion are called Pro, Pro Performance and GTX. The first already has Full LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, alert and lane assistant, traffic signal reader, front and rear parking sensors, pre-collision warning, blind spot sensor and rear camera.
Other standard elements are the automatic climate control, Keyless Access and Start, Integrated Navigation System, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, bluetooth, USB, DAB radio, heated mirrors, interior LED pack, driving mode selector, rain sensor, digital instrumentation, etc.
In the more complete versions, aesthetic elements are added that put the sporty note, more enveloping seats, Smart Matrix LED headlights, 20-inch alloy wheels, specific upholstery and other small exclusive details that enhance its exclusivity. The recommended prices are as follows:
