'Sick Love' is the ViX+ movie that shows the hidden side of couples

TelevisaUnivision is making its debut with the launch of “sick love“, the new original movie on its ViX+ streaming platform. The feature film has a top-notch cast that includes Estefanía Hinojosa, Gonzalo Vega Jr.Natalia Tellez, Luis ArrietaJesus Zavala paco wheel, Cassandra Sanchez NavarroDaniel Tovar, Camila Sodi, Alejandro de la Madrid, Eréndira Ibarra, Alberto Guerra, Mónica Huarte, Andrés Palacios, Fernanda Castillo, adriana louvierMaya Zapata and Juan Pablo Medina.

The film directed by Marco Polo Constantse Y Rodrigo Nava It is based on the play “Love Sick” by John Cariani and revolves around a multitude of couples showing that love is not always easy. Before the launch of the visual work, we were able to speak with some of the protagonists who told us about their experience making this film.

Cassandra Sanchez Navarro: “We are super happy to be in this project where we share with so many people we love, with two directors that we adore and that we know is a story that Mexico and that the ViX+ audience will identify with.

Cassandra’s character experiences an awakening on her wedding day that makes her life look complicated, a situation that the actress would never want to experience.

“The exercise of covering one’s eyes and communicating truthfully seemed brilliant to me. If at any time I am in a situation like that, I am going to say… let’s blindfold ourselves and see if we can communicate that way, ”she explained.

adriana louvier makes a couple with the actress Fernando Castillo within fiction. Both are a couple with children who live everyday situations after love seems to have been left behind. Representing a character from the LGBTQ+ community was a great experience for Adriana.

“The chemistry that Fernanda and I had throughout the work process on set was truly incredible. Not only as a person, but also as a professional, we managed to tell the story and we are very happy with the result”, said Adriana.

On the inclusion of the film, he said, “It has inclusion in all possible ways and I think it is something very important,” adding that the beauty of this story is that it is already an established couple with a lifetime together.

A Gonzalo Vega Jr. he has to play a character who lives an “instinctive” and “physical” love, as he himself described it.

“It’s very cool how the film is told because it begins with this story of physical love, fast and fleeting, and we see how that love can turn into all these versions of love and can be complicated in so many ways,” explained the actor. “In my story there is no text, everything is physical and everything is shared with the eyes and it is a beautiful way to express this first stage of love.”
