From the first quarter of next year those interested in the Aiways U5 they will be able to acquire it in the Spanish market. It will come to our country from the hand of Astara, a new name owned by the former Bergé Group and which is a guarantee for users.
The first model to arrive will be the Aiways U5 crossover for the first months of next year and a little later it will be the turn of the U6 Coupé, which has a more personal aesthetic. The entire range of the brand’s vehicles will focus on medium-range pure electric vehicles.
The Aiways U5 has an electric motor with 204 hp of power and 310 Nm of torque that is combined with an automatic transmission and the system of simple traction to the front axle. It is equipped with a 63 kWh battery that gives it a range of 410 km according to the WLTP cycle.
It stands out as a good electrician due to its good performance, something that is perceived in data such as the 7.5 seconds it takes to go from 0-100 km / h. The firm declares a total weight of 1,720 kg in its entry version, a normal figure in the segment in which it militates.
The standard equipment for Europe includes in all cases the LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, lane assist and alert, automatic light change, traffic sign reader, pre-collision warning, automatic city braking, blind spot detector and reversing maneuvers, rear parking sensor, etc.
Also standard will be the alloy wheels (minimum 17 inches), automatic climate control, push-button start, trip computer, power seats, sound system with 12.3-inch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, bluetooth, DAB radio, etc.
Recommended prices for Spain they have not yet been confirmed but in Germany their rates start at € 35,993 although with the aid it remains at a very interesting € 29,993. In France and Belgium its price is higher, starting at € 42,400 before aid. Details of Aiways U6 will be known later.
