Each year, the Cupertino company organizes an event that brings together all its shareholders. During this general meeting, Tim Cook and his teams talk to investors and reassure them. For this year, the meeting will be virtual. Apple invites its shareholders on Friday, March 4, at 6 p.m. (French time).
Apple’s annual general meeting to be held on March 4, 2022
In 2022, we are shaking up habits a bit. Indeed, usually, Apple holds this meeting of shareholders in the Steve Jobs Theater, in the heart of the gigantic Californian head office, Apple Park. This is also where the new iPhones are generally unveiled in September.
Still, with the health crisis that persists, Apple has chosen an online meeting in order to “Provide a safe experience for [ses] shareholders and [ses] employees”.
No agenda for these annual meetings, they are usually structured around discussions between shareholders, Tim Cook and other members of the management of Apple. The goal is to answer investors’ questions or even brush aside their concerns. We imagine that the health crisis and the shortage of semiconductors will be at the heart of the exchanges this year.
There is little chance that new products intended for users will be presented. However, we will obviously be entitled to key figures for Apple on the growth of the company or sales.
In the meantime, we have an appointment on January 27 to know the turnover of the Cupertino company during its fourth quarter. A major quarter given that it includes, among other things, the end of year celebrations and especially Black Friday.
