The Ferrari BR20 is the latest addition to the Prancing Horse brand’s One-Off series and was presented today to an exclusive group of guests in Maranello.
As we mentioned a while ago, Ferrari One-Offs are unique cars, absolutely tailor-made, designed according to a customer’s specifications and designed as a clear expression of personal tastes.
The BR20 is a two-seater V12 coupe Developed on the platform of the Ferrari GTC4Lusso, which in terms of philosophy and stylistic approach, cleverly references the magnificent coupes that Ferrari made between the 50s and 60s.
According to the brand, this unique model boasts muscular sportiness thanks to some of the most iconic 12 cylinders in Ferrari’s history, including the 410 SA and the 500 Superfast.
The two rear seats of the GTC4Lusso have been removed to add dynamism to the BR20’s ultra-sleek fastback line. The new car is somewhat longer than the original, thanks to a rear overhang designed to create a silhouette that beautifully emphasizes its proportions. One of the cornerstones of the design process for this unique piece was the radical modification made to the cabin volume.
The new cabin design solution creates the impression of a pair of arches extending longitudinally from the A-pillar to the rear wing. The rear volume of the arch has been hollowed out to create an aerodynamic channel with the air outlet hidden under the spoiler.
To visually lighten the cabin, the black roof paint visually connects the windshield with the rear window, which sits on the surface of the tailgate as if to channel the airflow.
A muscular rear bumper blends seamlessly with the aggressive look of the rest of the car: the twin taillights create a visual dialogue with the tailpipes, which are lower and are set in an aerodynamic diffuser with active underbody fins.
The many details of carbon fiber The BR20 highlights the dynamic characteristics and powerful performance of this extraordinary all-wheel drive car.
The wide front grille sports a carbon fiber upper element, a note of stylistic consistency with other unique Ferrari models.
The unique identity of the BR20 is further underlined by the striking new horizontal louvers on the front grille that give a powerful sense of three-dimensionality.
The 20 ”diamond-finished wheels were also created especially for this one-of-a-kind car.
The interior of the BR20 is no less impressive, adorned in two tones of brown leather and carbon fiber, an exquisite combination developed according to the customer’s instructions. The seats are upholstered in leather Heritage Testa di Moro dark brown and they show off an exclusive pattern on the front, as well as silver stitching. Oak trim with carbon fiber inserts adorn the rear bench and luggage platform, hiding a deeper cargo area when folded flat.
The program of Special projects aims to create unique Ferraris (the so-called “One-Offs”) characterized by an exclusive design elaborated in accordance with the customer’s requirements, thus becoming the owner of a unique model. Each project is born from an idea proposed by the client and is developed with a team of designers from the Ferrari Styling Center.
