In recent months we have seen some car manufacturers present us with curious camperized prototypes and the truth is that it is not surprising, since the growth of motorhomes and campervans continues unstoppable. Now it is the turn of Nissan, which has turned an Evalia e-NV200 into a home on wheels able to reach the North Pole.
Baptized as Nissan e-NV200 Winter Camper, this prototype features high ground clearance, chunky off-road tires, a steel bar at the front with two spotlights and fenders at both ends, door bumpers, side bars and a set of rubber interior floor mats as part of the Genuine Nissan Accessories Package.
In the interior equipment we can find a complete kitchen with a refrigerator, folding beds and insulating glass. Nor is the Nissan Camper Technology Package, which is available for the e-NV200 and e-NV200 Evalia camperized and adds a set of accessories such as the 220V on-board power pack that can be recharged through the rooftop solar panel.
Under the hood, the Nissan e-NV200 Winter Camper Concept employs the same powertrain as the conventional variant, that is, a 80 kW (109 hp) and 254 Nm electric motor of torque that is associated with the new 40 kWh battery. Thanks to this, the Nissan e-NV200 can travel up to 301 km on a single charge.
