Another of the models that lands on the Spanish market of the special edition “100 Anniversary” of Mazda is the Mazda2, a multipurpose with an attractive design that stands out for its complete equipment. The negative part is in its high prices that are not justified taking into account its power.
The new Mazda2 «100th Anniversary» can be ordered exclusively with the engine 1.5 SKYACTIV-G with 90 hp and a light hybridization system that allows to obtain the ECO environmental label of the General Directorate of Traffic. As standard they have a six-speed manual transmission and a Stop & Start system.
According to the approved data this new version reaches a top speed of 183 km / h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 9.4 seconds, a very good figure for a car of this power. The average consumption remains at 5.3 L / 100, with emissions of 94 g / m of CO2.
Like the rest of the “100 Anniversary” units, the new Mazda2 is recognized by the pearl white exterior paint, light alloy wheels, chrome details and “privacy type” over-tinted windows. They also include garnet upholstery, 100th anniversary trim, dedicated key cover and exclusive floor mats.
The standard equipment includes the automatic climate control, Full LED headlights, leather upholstered seats, white leather inserts, four power windows, keyless access, push-button start, rain sensor, automatic headlights, photosensitive interior mirror and lane departure alert.
Also standard are heated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot object detector, 360º rear view camera, cruise control with limiter, SmartBeam, automatic city braking, fog lights, etc. The price without promotions goes up to € 24,895, too much for a segment B with 90 hp … although at least it has the ECO label.
