After telling us this morning that the Volkswagen Group’s new gigafactory will be located in the Valencian town of Sagunto, the brand has also told us that in 2024 its range of electrified vehicles will grow with the arrival of an all-new SUVbelonging to the competitive compact SUV segment.

According to representatives of the brand, the new electrified SUV has been designed to stand out for its appearance, an appearance that will offer confidence and transmit large doses of emotion at the wheel.

The model will have a length about 4.5 meterswhich will allow the design and engineering teams to develop an SUV with the perfect proportions to be highly competitive in the challenging compact SUV segment, although it must also incorporate the essence of the CUPRA brand.

In its mechanical offer it will integrate electrified engines mHEV (‘Mild Hybrid’) and PHEV (plug-in hybrid). The latter benefits from a new generation technology that will allow it to achieve a range of around 100 kilometers in fully electric mode.

The new electrified SUV will be produced together with the Audi Q3 Sportback at the plant in Györ, Hungarystarting in 2024 and we look forward to meeting you next year.
