The range of SEAT Tarraco will be enriched in the coming weeks with a new gasoline engine which will be positioned as the top of the range with the new eHybrid that recently joined the family of this crossover. Production has already started in German facilities located in the town of Wolfsburg.
Natural successor of the previous 2.0 TSI 190 hp, the new block develops 245 hp of power and it is the same engine that will also be used very soon in the more accessible Cupra León. In Tarraco they can only be purchased with the all-wheel drive system and with the DSG double clutch transmission with seven speeds.
The Spanish firm has reported that the new member can reach a maximum speed of 228 km / h and is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.2 seconds. Those interested in this version will only be able to purchase it associated with the FR trim level but will be able to choose between the configuration with five and seven seats.
As it is associated with the FR finish, the equipment will be very complete. Among the most remarkable we must mention the Full LED headlights, three-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, rear camera, digital instrumentation, sports package, keyless entry and start, automatic gate, navigator, touch screen, Apple CarPlay, etc. We will soon know the prices for the Spanish market.
