As you already know, the Extreme E is an innovative motorsport series that aims to highlight the impact of climate change and human interference in some of the most remote locations in the world and promotes the adoption of electric vehicles in the pursuit of a lower carbon future for the planet.
Although it was not planned or at least announced as such, a few hours ago, GMC Announced New Multi-Year Sponsorship With Chip Ganassi Racing for your first team electric racing adventure in the inaugural Extreme E season in 2021.
Featuring unique grille, graphics and bodywork, CGR’s 550-horsepower electric SUV was inspired by the GMC HUMMER EV, the world’s first all-electric “supertruck.”
Drivers Kyle LeDuc and Sara Price will act as CGR drivers on the series.
The five-race Extreme E world championship will be held in some of the most remote locations in the world and promotes the adoption of electric vehicles to offer a more environmentally friendly show – in terms of emissions.
