Last year, Apple presented theiPhone SE second generation (our test). This took the A13 Bionic processor from the iPhone 11 in a more compact format, but above all with a much more accessible price since it starts under the bar of 500 euros. The device itself was preceded by a chassis-based version of the iPhone 5, in March 2016.
Since sales have apparently been very successful since, many are already wondering about the future of the range. Among them, the investment bank JPMorgan, including a renowned analyst, William Yang, has just shared his predictions on the successor of these mobiles. This ensures that Apple has not planned such a release this year.
Assumed technical sheet
Rather, Yang thus suggests that theiPhone SE 3 would arrive by first semester 2022, without however specifying its nature. We can nevertheless hypothesize that if this phone follows the same principle as its previous editions, it will be entitled to internal components from its big high-end brothers for a size five inches maximum.
The biometric unlocking system Touch ID, meanwhile, has every chance of being installed this time directly under the screen. It is difficult, however, to know whether or not Apple will want to add the Face ID TrueDepth sensor, which is still limited to the most expensive products to date.
