These days the new Mercedes EQB is being presented to the motor media, an interesting compact size crossover that is equipped with a 100% electric motorization. It is an important model for the brand and also for families looking for an electric car with up to seven seats.
Derived from the Mercedes GLB, the new EQB stands out for its more square design than normal in the compact range of the German manufacturer and for including certain specific design details with which it manages to differentiate itself combustion units. Most of the modifications are on the front, boasting a fresher image.
Inside, the innovative and futuristic design remains almost intact, in which digital screens take center stage along with LED ambient lighting with up to 64 colors. In terms of quality, it is already known that it is not among the best, also abusing the glossy black plastic that we like so little.
At the moment the German firm has not communicated the sale prices for the Spanish market but it should be around € 58,000 without aid or discounts (the Mercedes EQA starts at € 49,900 with less power). The input option is called EQB 300 4Matic with 224 hp.
Those looking for higher performance They will be able to choose the EQB 350 4Matic with 292 CV of power. They all have in common the automatic transmission, all-wheel drive and the 66.5 kWh battery that gives them a range of 419 km according to the WLTP cycle. Later will come the EQB 250 with front-wheel drive and 190 HP of power.
In Spain, all Mercedes EQBs will include as standard the optics with LED technology, speed limiter and control, trip computer with color display, mirrors and electric windows, lane alert, automatic gate, alloy wheels, automatic climate control, multimedia system with bluetooth, DAB radio, Apple CarPlay, etc.
