It’s a rumor that is starting to make a lot of noise around the Apple brand. Indeed, the latter would have chosen to publish iOS 16 and WatchOs 9 in September, leaving a gap with the publication of iPadOS 16, but also macOS Ventura.
According to Apple brand analyst Mark Gurman, Apple is about to dissect these two launches to offer a second presentation keynote in October, this time focusing on tablets and computers from the Cupertino firm.
New Macs from October?
The Bloomberg reporter had mentioned this idea before and it has since been picked up by various experts at the company. According to the theories and information from Gurman, the late arrival of iPadOS and macOS will allow Apple to give better exposure to its products, especially the upcoming iPad Pro.
In the rumors that have been circulating a lot in recent days, several analysts suggest that Apple is about to update its Mac mini. This fixed computer was released in November 2020 with the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro M1 alongside it.
Since then, it has not been updated and an M1 Pro or even M2 version is in the pipeline on the Cupertino side. Apple could also take advantage of this new announcement conference to present yet another version of its MacBook Pro. The latter should be an update of the 14 and 16 inch models and it will carry an M2 Pro or M2 Max chip depending on the compositions of each.
September: the month of iPhones and Apple Watches?
Regarding the upcoming keynote, which could be held on Tuesday, September 6, it should be entirely devoted to the iPhone. But the Apple phone at the heart of many changes this year, might not be the only star of the evening. Indeed, the Apple Watch should also occupy a large part of the attention in this announcement conference, which could arrive in a new “Pro” version.
