As you may already know, the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC + is currently the most powerful compact with the four-cylinder supercharged group produced in large series manufactured in the world, an engine that can be purchased in two levels of power and torque. The simplest reaches a power of 285 kW (387 hp), which is not bad.
In the S variant, this 2.0-liter engine peers into the characteristic power spectrum of higher categories with its 310 kW (421 hp). The new AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT-8G eight-speed dual-clutch transmission ensures perfect transitions in any driving situation and performs gear changes in a few milliseconds.
However, BRABUS believes it can make the compact an even more radical toy, and has equipped the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with the performance kit. PowerXtra B45, which gets an extra 29 HP and 50 Nm of maximum torque to give us a total of 450 hp and 550 Nm of pair.
Thanks to this, the A 45 is now capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.7 seconds and reach a maximum of up to 270 kilometers per hour. Also, there is no lack a new exhaust system stainless steel with butterfly valves and a three year / 100,000 km warranty.
The performance improvement is accompanied by a juicy visual update. We can find shiny black BRABUS Monoblock rims in size of 20 inches, Continental tires, a spoiler rear, a carbon fiber diffuser, a marking splitter front and four tips exhaust.
Inside the changes are more subtle, as we will hardly find a set of floor mats with the BRABUS logo, aluminum pedals, illuminated door sills, new paddles and a wide catalog of upholstery in leather and Alcantara.
