After initially getting confused with some teasers that actually announced the arrival of the Pagani Huayra Tricolore, it seems that finally the Italian company shows us a preview of what will be the Pagani Huayra R. It is indeed a great moment for its debut, as Pagani introduced us to the Huayra just a decade ago.
Previous reports suggest that the Pagani Huayra R will equip a naturally aspirated V12 engine developed by Mercedes-AMG in collaboration with HWA, which will deliver 900 hp (662 kW) of power and will rise above 9,500 rpm. The gossips point out that, at this regime, the V12 of the Huayra R will light up red.
The company used Instagram last week to show off its powerful “V12 R” engine to the world and, incidentally, play a short clip of it accelerating. Yes, sounds more like a Formula 1 engine than a road car. Similarly, the car is expected to follow in the footsteps of the Zonda R and feature a more aerodynamic body kit.
This will include many components of carbon fiber, as well as an extremely limited production that, without a doubt, will already be more than assigned. The best news is that the Pagani Huayra R will debut this month of January, so we will not have to wait long to know all the information first hand.
