[Vídeo] Brutal! This is what Akrapovič's new exhaust sounds like for the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4

Founded in Slovenia more than 29 years ago by ex-motorcycle rider Igor Akrapovič, the exhaust brand is always talking about. Last August he presented his latest product to us: the Akrapovič Evolution titanium exhaust for the Audi RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback, and today he delights us with a new set of pipes and his intermediate exhaust for the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4.

Both are made of titanium, the first of which consists of a silencer and attractive tailpipes. It has active valves that increase the sound to our liking. For its part, the intermediate exhaust is located between the engine exhaust manifolds and the rear silencer, eliminating the car’s particle filter, which requires reprogramming of the engine ECU.

As you may be imagining, they are not road legal, but they are a real delight for circuit days. The installation requires around two hours of work and, in addition to being a 14.7 kilos lighter and high-performance unit, it allows to achieve a power gain of 11.6 kW (15.7 HP), as well as an increase in torque 43 Nm
