For a while now, rumors have been circulating about the possible release of new iPad Pro models this year. This could be done during a next Keynote in October. It must be said that the previous models date from April 2021, which is starting to be long according to Apple’s usual criteria.
Towards a price increase for the iPad Pro?
And precisely, the Australian operator Optus has added iPad Pro 2022 models to its internal inventory management system. These models are quite distinct from the iPad Pro 2021 models. For example, we note the presence of a fourth generation gray 11-inch iPad Pro with 512 GB of storage space and cellular connectivity.
In practice, these devices are not in stock, but employees have accidentally placed orders for some of them on behalf of their customers. Seeing the error, a buyer then received a confirmation of his order for a 2022 iPad Pro. However, customer service quickly called him back to tell him that this model was out of stock, and that only devices from third generation were currently available.
We learn in passing that this iPad Pro 2022 is offered at 2100 dollars against only 1899 dollars for the previous model, even when the storage capacity is identical. Of course, you always have to be careful with this type of information, but things do seem to be becoming clearer, and no doubt we will soon find out more about it.
For your part, would you be tempted by these new iPad Pro 2022 models that would be released this fall? Tell us in the comments.
