With the notch, the iPad Pro would offer a better display (images)

iPad Pro

The last iPad Pro dates from May 2021. However, we know that Apple now has the habit of renewing its various products every year. Its most expensive tablet is probably no exception to the rule, and it just so happens that a presentation conference would be scheduled for the end of March. But of course, until then we can only count on hypotheses to find out more about the device.

On Twitter, the designer @ld_vova was based on the most recent rumors concerning this product in order to model a model as close as possible. We recognize above all the current format of the collection, but also a very particular change reminiscent of the one made to the screen of the MacBook Pro arrived in October.

The software optimization expected at the turn

Indeed, the iPad Pro embeds here an imposing notch installed at the top of the panel in portrait orientation. Recall that the arguments of Apple justifying this intruder on iPhone were until now the integration of the TrueDepth sensor of Face ID. However, it is indeed already available on iPad Pro, but with obviously wider borders.

The interest of the notch therefore seems here precisely to offer a better screen-to-size ratio to users. With its refresh rate of 120 frames per second, the iPad Pro is also Apple’s best tablet for video games or serial streaming. What’s more, its proprietary processor (currently the M1) guarantees top-notch performance to support these tasks.

It should be remembered, however, that the arrival of the computer notch has caused a good number of technical issues on macOS, more or less resolved since. So there is more to hope that Apple will take this into account if the company actually unveils an iPad Pro with this difference.
