A few hours ago Opel has presented the first images of the new Combo-e Life, an interesting proposal designed for families looking for an electric with a high load capacity. It is basically the same as the commercial Combo-e that has been on the market for a few weeks.
Under the hood the new Combo-e Life hides an electric motor that develops 136 hp of power and a torque of 260 NmVery reasonable figures that give it good performance as shown by the 11.2 seconds required to reach 100 km / h from a standstill. The maximum speed has been limited to 130 km / h.
The lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 50 kWh and according to the homologation, about 280 km can be traveled on a single charge (WLTP cycle). In quick shots, 80% of the battery can be recovered in just half an hour and it is interesting that it includes a 7.4 kW on-board charger, more powerful than that of some alternatives.
Those interested in the Combo-e Life will be able to choose between the versions with conventional battle measuring 4.40 meters in length and elongated wheelbase that goes up to 4.75 meters. If the client wishes, they can choose units with seven seats.
According to versions the equipment includes Head Up Display, panoramic roof with electric curtain, automatic climate control, parking sensors, alloy wheels, 180º camera, navigator, signal reader, lane change alert, pre-collision warning, automatic braking, blind spot control, etc. Prices for the moment have not been communicated for the Spanish market.
